BECOME AN ACTT AMBASSADOR!

Black Coalition For Safe Mother Hood

JOIN THE ACTT AMBASSADORS

If you’ve experienced an ACTT Workshop, you already know the impact of the ACTT framework — a self-affirming, community-centered approach that uplifts and protects Black birthing families in medical and maternity care settings.

The Black Coalition for Safe Motherhood (BCFSM) is building a national team of ACTT Workshop Facilitators — ACTT Ambassadors — who are dedicated to sharing our self-advocacy toolkit in Black communities. With support
and compensation from BCFSM, ACTT Ambassadors will connect with community members, birth workers, and maternal health leaders, offering ACTT learning in neighborhood gatherings, local events and regional conferences.

As an ACTT Ambassador, you’ll be part of a growing movement to empower individuals with skills and confidence to navigate the medical system and assert their rights.

You are warmly invited to join the ACTT Ambassador Program upon completing ACTT Workshop Facilitator Training. We’ll provide ongoing support, tools, and resources to help you educate your community about:

● Asking questions until you understand the answers
● Claiming your space — physically and mentally
● Trusting your body
● Telling your story

ACTT Workshops are engaging, interactive, and designed for everyone —pregnant or not. Through role play and discussion, participants learn to take ownership of their healthcare journeys. ACTT is a powerful reminder: we all have the right to bodily autonomy, dignity, and informed decision making.

If you’re passionate about community education and committed to improving health outcomes with Black families, we invite you to volunteer with BCFSM and complete the ACTT Facilitator Training (if you haven’t already).

Join the ACTT Ambassadors — and help build a future where every voice is heard, every story matters, and every family receives the care they deserve.
